Pulmonary Lesions of Enzootic Murine Respiratory Mycoplasmosis in Conventional Rats

Abstract
|
|
|
A total of 750 conventional rat lungs was examined to observe the characteristics of pathological lesions on pulmonary mycoplasmosis.
Lung lesions were located frequently on the both anterior half of the lungs. A confined lobular or rough granular confluent consolidation and abscesses were conspicuous.
Histologically, peribronchial and perivascular lymphoid hyperplasia, hyperplasia of bronchial epithelium, and bronchiectasis were characteristic features.
